PEPPPA

The Pan-European Personal Pension Providers Association

PEPPPA is the independent association representing providers of Pan-European Personal Pension (PEPP) products across the European Union. We unite financial institutions, digital platforms, and pension experts to advance a truly portable, tax-efficient, and consumer-focused pension model that supports mobility, transparency, and long-term retirement security across Member States.

Pan-Europeanism

Advancing cross-border access, legal alignment, and linguistic interoperability to ensure PEPP is truly portable across the EU's single market.

Consumer Empowerment

Promoting transparency, affordability, and digital access to personal pension solutions that empower citizens to take control of their financial futures.

Supervisory Engagement

Facilitating constructive dialogue and technical cooperation between providers and EU/national supervisory authorities to support consistent and effective PEPP implementation.

Building Europe's Pension Future

PEPPPA facilitates cross-border collaboration, standardization, and dialogue among stakeholders to make the EU's vision of a Capital Markets Union with mobile retirement savings a reality.

Our Mission

To advance the successful roll-out, adoption, and harmonization of the Pan-European Personal Pension Product (PEPP) across the EU, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2019/1238. PEPPPA acts as a platform for coordination, representation, and cross-sector collaboration in support of a sustainable European pension ecosystem.

For Policymakers

PEPPPA actively contributes to public consultations and regulatory dialogues conducted by EC, DG FISMA, EIOPA, and national competent authorities. By aggregating insight from licensed providers and ecosystem partners across the EU, we support evidence-based policy and pragmatic implementation of the PEPP framework.

PEPP Providers

Join a cross-disciplinary network of financial service providers, technology firms, and pension innovators working together to shape the future of retirement in Europe. PEPPPA fosters collective engagement, standard-setting, and operational best practices for licensed PEPP providers.

Transparency & Integrity

Operating independently and in the public interest, PEPPPA is committed to the highest standards of transparency, ethics, and impartiality. We ensure all stakeholders—including consumers, providers, regulators, and researchers—can participate in a fair and trusted pension ecosystem.
